Queen B is not ready to stop making music and making money. Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z are worth 1 billion dollars together and the money keeps rolling in as she finishes her Mrs. Carter tour. Beyoncé made 188.6 million dollars in 2013 and 41.1 million dollars in 2014 from the Mrs. Carter tour. In total she made 229.7 million dollars selling out almost every where she went; they don’t call her Queen B for nothing. When she surprised everyone with an album on December 13, 2013 making a video for every song, she made more than 1.5 million dollars that day. Everyone went straight to iTunes to download every song and every video making her even more rich over night.
That doesn’t stop there. When Beyoncé had her first daughter Blue Ivy Carter she made even more money and became happier with a new-born. She even dedicated a song on her new album called “Blue” and featured her daughter in the video. She loves being an entertainer but most importantly she loves being a mom. Beyoncé took baby Blue on a boat for her first birthday and spent 200,000 on the whole celebration– must be great to be Blue Ivy. The power couple showers their baby with gifts and tries to keep her away from the paparazzi.
Beyoncé is not just a mother and performer, but she is also a fashion icon. According to newyorktimes.com, ‘seven outfits, including the 2008 “Single Ladies” leotard (designed by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles), the Thierry Mugler robot outfit from “Sweet Dreams” (2009) and the 2012 Givenchy Met ball dress are on display in Ahmet Ertegun Hall, where they are joining pieces from Michael Jackson and David Bowie, among other artists. They have been lent for two years.’ Beyoncé is the ultimate diva and loves to live large. We can’t wait to see what she will do next.
