Step Up Against AIDS Stepping Showcase from Philadelphia FIGHT

This AIDS Education Month, join Philadelphia FIGHT for our 1st Stepping Showcase!

Introducing…. Step Up Against AIDS: The First Philadelphia FIGHT  Stepping Showcase, hosted by DJ Diamond Kuts of Power 99

The first Philadelphia FIGHT Stepping Showcase will use stepping, a long and rich tradition in African-based communities and among African American fraternities and sororities  to educate, promote HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, motivate, and reinforce values of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and commitment to ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic. The event will also feature spoken word artists. This event is free and open to the public, no registration is required.

Date: Thursday, June 5, 2014

Location: Temple University Performing Arts Center (1837 N. Broad Street)

5:00pm – Free, rapid HIV Testing begins. Youth between the ages of 13-24 who get tested will receive a FREE ticket to the Hip Hop for Philly concert featuring Wale on Saturday, June 27th. All ticket holders get entered to win concert tickets to see Jay Z and Beyoncé at Citizens Bank Park on July 5th!

6:00pm – Doors Open

7:00pm – Show Begins
